Ezhel, whose real name is Sercan İpekçioğlu, is one of the most influential voices in Turkish rap, with a strong presence also in the German scene. Born and raised in Ankara, and now based in Berlin, he has been shaped by a wide range of influences: hip-hop, reggae, and Anatolian rock – a mix that also characterizes his sound.
