New Nordic Poling (DK) – Guest Performance at the Turteatern

Step into a world where pole dancing meets activism and art. New Nordic Poling (NNP) is a dynamic collective of eight passionate pole dancers who not only perform, but also 'pole for change'. Their new show invites you to NNP's annual recruitment meeting, giving you a unique glimpse into the movement's heart and vision.
During the meeting, you'll see 'Radical Embrace', the group's self-created and self-told documentary film. Follow NNP's members as they prepare for their actions: from creating powerful banners to challenging Extinction Rebellion on May Day in Copenhagen's harbour. Their journey takes them even to remote Svalbard, where they use their innovative and portable pole 'pole 4 the melting pole'. It's a story of engagement, boundary-crossing art and an unwavering pursuit of change.
