Torbjörn Näsbom combines folk music with a solid classical background as an educated violinist. He has been employed at the Norrlandsoperan and performed as a soloist with large symphony orchestras as well as toured internationally with Ann-Sofie von Otter. In 2014, he was awarded the Zorn Gold Badge, the highest honor in the spelmans world.

Anders Mattsson is a leading ambassador for the instrument and received the Tierp municipality's cultural award in 2026. As a teacher at Eric Sahlström Institute and course leader within the American Nyckelharpa Association (ANA), he has gathered enthusiasts from all over the world. Through digital initiatives on World Nyckelharpa Day, he has successfully brought together participants from all over the world and brought the tradition into the future.

Both musicians were educated early in their careers by legends like Eric Sahlström and Viksta-Lasse.
